Terms of Service

These terms are between Meckly Pty Ltd trading as BigShoow ("BigShoow", "we") and the business that signs up to use BigShoow ("you", the host). By using BigShoow you agree to them.

1. What BigShoow is

BigShoow gives you a website to sell tickets and merchandise, run a blog and manage guests. Payments from your guests go straight into your own Stripe account. We do not hold your ticket money and we do not take a commission on your sales.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or over and able to enter a contract for your business. Keep your email account secure, because we sign you in by email link. You are responsible for anything done by people you add to your admin.

3. Fees

You pay the setup fee and the monthly plan shown when you sign up. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Plans renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Plan and billing, and your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for. Setup fees cover work already done and are not refundable, except where the Australian Consumer Law says they must be. Stripe charges its own card processing fees on your sales. Those are between you and Stripe.

4. Your sales and your guests

You are the seller of your tickets and merchandise. You set your prices, your refund policy and your event details, and you are responsible for delivering what you sell. You deal with your guests' questions, refunds and complaints. You must follow the laws that apply to you, including the Australian Consumer Law, privacy law and the Spam Act 2003.

5. Your content

You own the words, photos and logos you upload. You give us permission to store and show them so we can run your site. Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not use BigShoow for anything unlawful, misleading, hateful or harmful, or to sell anything you are not allowed to sell.

6. Guest data

The guest details collected on your site belong to you. We look after them for you as your service provider, as our Privacy Policy explains. We do not sell them and we do not contact your guests for our own marketing.

7. Your domain

If you connect your own domain, you keep ownership of it and you are responsible for renewing it. If we buy a domain for you, it is registered for your business and we will transfer it to you on request.

8. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep BigShoow running, secure and backed up, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any change to these terms or your price that affects you. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it starts.

9. Suspension and ending

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts guests or other hosts at risk. Where it is safe to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. If your account ends, you can ask for an export of your guest list, bookings and orders within 30 days.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
